Les Miseres' line-up reflects some of the diverse cultures which gave rise to today's Cajun sound. The band collaborates with Cecile Goubet and Florent Kohut (Dijon, France), Allin Cottrell (Winston-Salem, North Carolina) and Sebi Lubwama (Uganda) who are all guests on the CD. Cecile Goubet gives us a beautiful old waltz in French - Mon Coeur T'appelle, and Sebi reworks a traditional Cajun children's song in Luganda - Wololo Wololo. Allin is featured on violin on tracks 1,3,5,7,8,10 and 11. Florent plays sax on the live two-step medley - Lacassine/J'Etais ou Bal and on the Popcorn Blues. |
